Welcome !

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 18 in Culver City!

Since 1943, Pack 18 has helped boys in Culver City achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of these activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings. Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging. We invite you and your son to join us!  Click here to learn more about us!

An edited version of the remarks James Perez delivered at the Feb. 22, 2014, Blue & Gold Banquet was published in the March 2014 issue of Crescent Bay Chronicle, the district newsletter. It's a good commentary on two important core values of Cub Scouting: Citizenship and Responsibility. Thank you to all of the Cub Scouts, parents, and leaders who help make the pack go.

Pinewood Derby Time!

Posted on Feb 7 2014 - 9:19pm
Attention Pack 18!

It's once again time for our Pack's annual Pinewood Derby event!  The Derby is a yearly event where the scouts get to practice their woodworking skills by making cars out of blocks of pine and then racing them against each other.  It's a ton of fun for everybody!  This year Den 4 is coordinating the event and I have attached a flyer with the rules and additional information to this email.  Derby car kits will be distributed at the next Pack meeting 1/27 and I will be available for any questions about the coming Pinewood Derby race!
